About Preserve

Since 1996, Preserve has made products that are good for both people and the planet. We transform yogurt cups into toothbrushes and take-out containers into tableware. Through innovations in sustainable materials, recycling systems, and performance-driven design, we create products that require 50% less water and energy and reduce carbon emissions by 66% to 75% when compared with virgin plastics. After starting with these more sustainable raw materials, we design products for reuse, displacing disposables. And, where disposables may be necessary, we create lightweight designs and use recycled and plant-based materials that reduce impact. Our products are created to not only be lower impact, but also to be stylish and fun to use - both at home and in food service environments.

As a pioneer in sustainable products, we found our roots in creating everyday household products from 100% recycled plastic. To divert even more plastic from the landfills, we took it a step further and developed our own takeback program called Gimme 5 to collect #5 plastic and transform it into new Preserve products, ultimately closing the product lifecycle loop. Since our founding, Preserve has continued to innovate to meet the complex and evolving needs of today’s world.

Preserve manufactures in the USA and has been a proud B Corp since 2011. We have won B Corp’s Best for the Earth award for 10 years running. We’re committed to hitting Net Zero emissions by 2030 and have been Climate Neutral certified since 2021.

We created this food service site as a way to make ordering easier for our smaller volume food service customers and to provide resources for all of our food service partners. Ordering via this site is best suited for those ordering less than about 10 cases. We serve customers in all channels of the food service industry working with over 40 food service distributors to serve customers in restaurant, retail, corporate, education, healthcare, entertainment and other hospitality venues.
