All Preserve Cutlery is made in the USA in a solar powered facility. This reduces the impact and costs of shipping distances.
100% RECYCLED PLASTIC CUTLERY
MADE WITH LOVE & RECYCLED PLASTIC
Polypropylene (#5 plastic) is the most common plastic found in the U.S. waste stream today, but its recycling rate is a mere 2%. Preserve® Cutlery is made from 100% recycled #5 BPA-free plastic. For end of life, cutlery can be recycled through Preserve’s Gimme 5 program. Preserve can work with you to create a program to ensure the recycling of your used Preserve cutlery.

The Preserve Dispenser is compatible with all sleeved Preserve cutlery and holds 400 pieces of cutlery. Interchangeable chambers allow you to configure the dispenser for your needs.

End of Life Solutions for Preserve Cutlery
PLA (Compostable): Preserve’s compostable cutlery is compostable in industrial composting facilities (meets ASTD6400 and EN13432). Preserve’s Home Compostable Cutlery is currently in development.
Recycled Polypropylene: Even though polypropylene is highly recyclable, the small size of cutlery can prove a sorting challenge for recycling facilities. Through our Preserve Gimme5® team, we have worked with customers to develop recycling solutions for cutlery ranging from mail-back to dedicated hauling through a local recycler. Preserve cutlery and single use bans
While every single use ban is different, Preserve cutlery is allowed under some single use bans, due to its material (recycled or compostable) and because of its durability, allowing for washing and reuse. For more information please contact the Preserve team at info@preserve.eco.
